Chiquita Banana Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffins

Easy to make breakfast muffins that your kids will be happy to eat and you will be happy to serve.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium Chiquita bananas, ripe and mashed
  • 0.5 cup plain yogurt
  • 0.5 cup applesauce, unsweetened
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1
In a large mixing bowl mix bananas, yogurt, applesauce, and egg.
Step 2
Mix in baking soda, baking powder, sugar, flour, and oatmeal. Let sit for 5-10 minutes for oatmeal to soak up liquid and soften a bit.
Step 3
Gently fold in chocolate chips.
Step 4
Spoon into greased or paper-lined muffin tins and bake at 375F for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
