Chiquita Banana No Bake Cookies

These no bake cookies feature crunchy nuts and sweet bananas. They are quick and easy to make, and perfect for kids to snack on.

Ingredients

  • 3 Chiquita Bananas (w/brown flecks)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter or Margarine
  • 1/2 cup 2% Milk
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
  • 3 cups Quick Cook Oatmeal
  • 2 cups Chopped Walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Optional

  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder

Directions

Step 1
First, add your Chiquita bananas, sugar, butter, and milk to a sauce pan and bring to a boil, stirring frequently until the mixture is smooth.
Step 2
Next, mix all remaining ingredients into the mixture.
Step 3
Spoon out 24 gooey cookies onto wax paper and let cool completely.
Step 4
Refrigerate for one hour to allow the cookies to set. Store in an airtight container.
