This easy to assemble campfire or grill dessert is perfect for your next camping trip or grill-out with the kids! They will love assembling the packets themselves.
Ingredients
- 1 medium Chiquita Banana (ripened)
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
Directions
| Step 1 | |
| Tear a square of foil slightly larger than the banana itself. | |
| Step 2 | |
| Peel and place ripened banana in the center of the foil square. | |
| Step 3 | |
| Add tabs of butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. | |
| Step 4 | |
| Fold foil into a pouch. | |
| Step 5 | |
| Place on hot coals of a campfire or on the grill for 10 minutes or until banana is softened and sugar is caramelized. Be careful when checking doneness that you don't get a steam burn from opening the foil packet. | |
| Step 6 | |
| Open, allow to cool a bit and eat. | |
