Family Binder Organization

What’s a family binder you ask? It’s a big binder full of information your family utilizes on a regular basis. I was at a friend’s house recently and she whipped out her family binder when I asked for a pediatrician recommendation. I was in awe. She didn’t have to search through her junk drawer or through piles of papers to find the information, it was right at her finger tips. My friend had sections in her binder for emergency contacts, medical information, bills, etc. I needed one of these family binder things too.

I hate feeling so unorganized when it comes to this information, so I made my way to the office supply store to pick out a pretty binder and some divider tabs. I came up with a game plan of what information was absolutely necessary for our family and that’s how my binder was divided. It’s still a work in progress, but I’m happy to report that I’m a little more organized now.
