Chiquita Banana Mango Popsicles
Summer is here, which means hot weather (or super hot weather if you live here in Arizona) and finding ways to cool off from that hot weather. One of my family’s favorite ways to cool off is by making our own “sickles”, toddler language for popsicles. Sometimes we get a little creative with our recipes, but this simple Chiquita Banana Mango Popsicle recipe is a household favorite that everyone loves. It only consists of 3 ingredients (I told you it was simple), all of which you probably already have in your kitchen. The recipe is so easy that you can barely call it a recipe, which is my kind of recipe!
Get your kiddos involved when making these pops. They can put the ingredients in the blender for you and the older kids can measure out and pour the liquid. Check out books about bananas from the library and as you’re waiting for them to freeze, you can read them together. You could also turn this into a science lesson like Tricia did and talk about ice and melting. I bet you could find a few books from the library on the topic as well.
Let me know how you like these pops and if you have any favorite popsicle recipes of your own!
