Mason Jar Picnic Recipes
Spring is in the air, which means enjoying the beautiful weather outdoors. And if you live in Arizona, it means getting out as much as possible before the triple degree weather hits. Our favorite springtime activity is having picnics at the park or even in our backyard. We plop a blanket in the grass and I pack a picnic lunch for us. While it takes a bit more prep work ahead of time, the clean up is a breeze. Another plus is that, for some reason, I can always get Logan to eat everything on his plate during a picnic. Add picnics to my list of tips for feeding picky eaters.
I recently discovered a convenient and just plain cute way to pack a picnic. I make our food the night before, pack it all in mason jars and store it in the fridge. The next day, I just have to grab the jars out of the fridge and we’re all set for an instant picnic. For some reason, food just tastes better when packaged in a cute jar. Top the mason jars with cupcake liners, tied with some jute or string, and this instant picnic would make a creative and thoughtful gift. So, grab a few mason jars and fill them with watermelon, Mason Jar Pasta Salad and Mason Jar Chiquita Banana Pudding. You can find my Healthy Lemonade Recipe over at See Vanessa Craft, it’s good for fighting off colds too. Happy picnicking!

So unique and cute!
Thank you
What a great idea. I like it because we often go out for errands all day and are trying to avoid eating out. We have loads of mason jars, so this is perfect!
Thanks Donna! I love that you can pack your lunch the night before in a mason jar and just store it in the fridge…super convenient
